I think the best piece to come out of this piece is that libraries are not neutral, but they are non-partisan. Libraries can't turn a blind eye to politics, but they can make space for peace to happen. If you're not for peace, you cannot be welcome.

With over 30 years in libraries under my belt, I can count on one hand how many professional development activities Iโ€™ve attended which focussed on indigenous materials and services. Letโ€™s hope thatโ€™s not the case for emerging GLAM professionals.
