So. Much. Gambling. 🤷🏼‍♀️Students bet money (before seeing the ?); I click to the ?; they answer; I reveal correct one; they collect money or lose it. SUPER fun! Also, pandemonium. 😂

I LOVE just pasting feedback rubrics right into the comments and using their "performance" stars (0-5). It makes using Flipgrid as a formative fast and easy! __

When you travel with students & become like family; however, 2maintain your boundaries during family stay, you train them to evaluate all situations on the scale of "Should I call Madame or manage this myself?" Then you get this email in the summer 😂 P.S. I said "yes"

New year, new evaluations. If your evaluator does not have a language teaching background, consider sharing this observation feedback tool by that gives observable/measurable aspects of your lessons to look for.

honest thought: our kids don't need a teacher saviour... they need someone who will listen and help them find their voice. Their trauma is their trauma - Not ours to appropriate. They need someone to trust and who trusts them. Not an authoritarian. 1/2

Can we for a second? I stopped using Remind101 for this very reason: I was over. it. Whatever it is (mani/pedi, lesson planning late 1 night/wk to get ahead, date night, using some multiple choice, name it!) that helps you stay JOYFUL teaching, DO IT.

About to be DEEP into teaching & & learning . We start Unit2 in 2 weeks &, miraculously, I just put ALL the things we'll do on paper into 1 single .PDF (full of friends' resources!), ready 4 copies, early.
