We love walking through the test garden early in the morning and watching the bees wake up. This little guy was moving slowly yesterday morning. He hadn't had his coffee yet. Sleepy little bumbler!

We harvested some Christmas Lima Beans today. They're so pretty! Last year's crop was delicious--we can't wait to cook these. A little butter, a dash of salt...perfection!

Sometimes it feels like forever until the Moonflowers bloom, but wow are they worth the wait! Ours are three times bigger than the Morning Glories growing nearby. They're so gorgeously luminous!

Adorable Love-in-a-Puff Vine in the test garden. Subtle, but charming as all get out. When the pod dries, you'll find little round black seeds inside, each flaunting a white heart. Get it?
