havenโ€™t read poetry since I was at school and it was an exercise in over analysis and deep dissection so loving sons current obsession with this book at bed time and reading poems for fun to him (and scabbers the toy rat obvs!!)

I have very (very) slowly been collecting children type poems I've written and today I finally started editing them. The sheer bloody joy of it - rhymes, silliness, no arty farty aren't i a clever poet claptrap. I am LOVING it.
