Some questions to ask about your story: Does this story have a wolf? Is there a way you can include a wolf? Can the story still work if the main character IS a wolf? Is there an opportunity for backmatter with wolf facts? Is there a wolf attack?

Ran into this topic in a conversation: Do "girls' books" really feature adoption more often than boys'? I can think of Anne of Green Gables, Daddy-Long-Legs, Dear Enemy, and a few others off the top of my head. Did you have adoption stories in your childhood favorites?

"Toko kelontong" is a traditional grocery store. Before lots of malls or supermarkets exist, "Toko kelontong" is my favorite place. I like to buy marble, biscuit, little cute baby figures, and kerupuk.
