Hey everyone! Last year you recorded a whopping 301 sightings for Northern Ireland!! This is amazing & will help me look into why the species is declining in NI. Already for 2020 we have 8 sightings recorded, I hope we smash this record. Thank you!!

A rather obliging ...I know what pic I really want to get, but I don't think a 6 ft mouse would fool it...

5 miler in Balkello woodland, taking in the old hill fort at Auchterhouse Hill, Balluderon Hill & the highest of the Sidlaws, Craigowl. Wouldn’t recommend the circular route back currently - better retracing your steps from Craigowl.

Kestrel at Canford Cliffs earlier today, doubt it was out in yesterday’s storm. It’s the same one of a pair I see regularly hunting along the cliffs. (A falcon can see a 2mm insect from 18 metres - Falcon, H. Macdonald)

Good morning 👋. Here is a tiny American (Falco sparverius) possibly scanning for prey. I kept seeing this tiny at the same location and perch for weeks 🙌. Suddenly, it stopped showing up. I hope…

In those days, portable computer projectors were rare things only seen in the hands of salesmen, and Offman had brought along the portable projector for our meeting.

Check out this amazing Kestrel!! Took forever to catch him, but worth it I think. They are the most skittish Raptors. 😄

A is a kind of falcon – the fastest land animal, we told our customers – and the equipment was named “Talon” after the sharpest points on a /falcon.
