Dr. Kagan suggests that as teachers we are a key factor in a child's social orientation. We can teach kids to be against, to be alone or to be with their community. What we do with them in the classroom matters! I choose "with"!

A4. Different strategies really help with this. Random grouping tools online, puzzles to find your partner, anything to mix it up. But, I always keep groups small so kids can slowly get comfortable.
