2014 Santa Clara Valley Merlot: Robust & firm; black cherry & dark skinned fruit flavors framed by cacao nibs, baking spice & anise. Firm backbone of grainy tannins gain on the long finish. This Merlot begs for a generously marbled cut of meat!
