anything else is just wrong. Cream is not ‘butter’. You put cream on top of puddings, not under them! Duh 😂

The great cream tea debate... I'm afraid my friend and I came to blows over this... she just can't accept she is wrong!

Never thought I had a strong opinion on the v debate til recently. Seeing a GIF today of someone putting cream on jam actually made me feel a bit queasy. What kind of monster puts jam - the less stable condiment - on first!? The cream acts as a butter FFS.

Shocked to see this in action. Not knocking it until you’ve tried it, I did the WRONG way! My first bite, the jam’s stuck to the roof of my mouth, I look ridiculous as I struggle to dislodge it with my tongue! People don’t want to see that @ Henley Regatta!

Was thinking of today. First Sa (14yrs, French) had a go and it was . Then her gran Su (70 something, British) showed her the technique! Sa was converted … As for me, I'm afraid I can't make up my mind on it…

Your cream looks disastrous! Should be so thick you can't spread it - clotted cream needs to be dolloped on top of the jam, hence
