The universe must have known I missed my kids. I woke up, checked my work email, and found this slideshow shared with me! A student created a slideshow for me as a surprise. It truly made my morning! ❤️

I made as a back up math center activity… Little did I know it would be their new favorite game during stations! Do they realize they’re practicing their 6-12 multiplication tables?! ✖️➗😂

So Summer PL is not so bad. Had a great time learning from some amazing educators. They made climbing off of my couch and putting on real clothes worth it 😂 AND I got to get my book signed by the one and only Mr. Ron Clark!

Yesterday a student told me she wouldn’t be at school Friday. Then says “Wait!! you’re going to finish Witness Protection without me??!! Can I borrow it Monday?” The power & influence of quality literature can’t be replaced.

Having an entire class go silent as they all write their informational piece rough draft was truly amazing. They worked hard, and diligently!, the whole hour. They actually got upset when we had to stop and clean up.
