A few of my kids keep writing messages, sending me videos and pics that aren’t even part of my assigned Seesaw activities. And I ❤️ it so much.

Kicked off our Johnny Appleseed Celebration with an apple taste-testing! Students voted & we created a graph, discussed that red and green were equal, created addition sentences based on our data, & more! Looking forward to a fun week! 🍎🍏

Had a Zoom meeting with my class yesterday. We couldn’t help ourselves—we just had to see each other. It was Monday morning and time for Tell Me Something Good. We loved it!

To celebrate Johnny Appleseed, today we taste-tested apple juice and apple cider. We described each drink and then wrote about it. We also used tally marks to record how many votes each drink earned.

Finished up our week of celebrating Johnny Appleseed by labeling the parts of an apple & writing about the steps we took in making homemade applesauce! We also had a special guest stop by for a visit...Johnny himself! It’s been a fun week! 🍎

We are wrapping up our maps and globes unit by making maps of our classroom. I'm hearing them use terms like "map key" "compass rose" and "birds eye view" and it makes my teacher heart happy!
