TS dropped over 40 inches of rain in this part of TX, & my field sites certainly showed signs of this incredible rainfall. Water levels are still high, even though the storm was nearly a month ago. You can see the high water line on Phragmites along the bayou.

I had a great visit w/ the Director at the Beaumont Clinic yesterday about how they're serving our SETX veterans after the clinic was damaged by . We must make sure our vets are taken care of and have the resources they need during this recovery process.

I was so busy, I missed this announcement. However, it doesn't affect me or most of my clients b/c they left off Galveston county. The kicker is every news story I've read about the declaration uses a picture of Galveston in their story.
