Out on the Howgill Fells challenge walk, taking in all nine 2,000-ft Fells in these wonderful range of hills. Lots of very steep ups and downs across very steep slopes. Stunningly beautiful. No one else about. Weather not as bad as forecast.

Day two of our Gold Navigation Skills course in the Howgill Fells. Using Contours as the prime method of navigation... because they can be relied on, are usually big features, you feel them as you walk and you are surrounded by them on the hills.
