What is your “go to” horror movie? The horror movie you can watch again & again, never get bored of and know each and every line of! Mine is the Lost Boys. Pretty mainstream I know but I just love it, what is yours?

It is always good to see some original IP make its way to the big screen and it helps when those movies are good, like Overlord is! Full review is here but the bottom line is that it is good.

...Harsh...."There is a very fine line where what can be considered artistic, actually becomes pretentious. For me this movie doesn't just cross the line, it wins the olympic gold medal in long jumping over the line. "

Not a place I want to be left alone in at nightfall... the cold stone tombs are damp and musty, shrouded in lonely darkness, while the wind twists its way through them sounding like lost voices of the past. Would make a great location!

If you want a break between the wolves, go with The Long Weekend (78), an Australian horror about a very displeased Mother Nature. Early eco-horror (one of my fave genres) that was award-winning but a commercial flop. highly recommended.

Demon is a remarkable Polish about a bridegroom and a . Languages include Polish, Russian, English, and Yiddish. It's a smart, chilling film (with no dead animals) and is quite creepy. High marks from this Polish Catholic. Very highly recommended.

Watched Curse of Frankenstein for the first time in years. Always liked Cushing as the baron doctor, but he was better than I remembered. A fantastic performance.
