I have some thoughts on in the wake of Meghan Markle’s apparent decision to birth at her home, but before I get started, please be advised, a home birth in the UK, the Netherlands, etc. is a different kettle of fish than a home birth in America. Why? Prof. Midwifery.

Did you know that in Angus, Scotland 22% of all babies are born at home and the neonatal transfer rate is zero! Wow. They say they love their team, jobs and supportive managers ❤️😊

Just packed our birth pool off to a new home, hoping it’s got some good luck with it after our perfect birth. Welcome of the space back in our living room but feels more officially over now after the 9 months of planning!
