Imagine this view while hanging out your washing! 😍 In the background, Glencoe House perches on the slopes of the Pap of Glencoe. The grand house (now a hotel) was built in 1896, so this photo likely dates to the early 1900s.

This handsome lad is all dressed up with nowhere to go, as many Highland Shows were cancelled this summer. Photo is supposedly Angus Cameron/Carriston pictured at the Appin Show in 1928...but the first Appin Show wasn't held until 1957! Can anyone help?

Today’s is loaded with symbolism: a powder horn carved with the crest badges of and of Glengarry. It was presented to two of our charity's benefactors before being donated to our museum last year.
