Excess weight is hard on your knees! On flat ground, the force on your knees is 1.5X body weight. So, a 150 lb. person places 225 lbs on their knees w/each step. When you go up stairs, the force rises to 4X your body weight. That's 600 pounds for a 150 lb person!

One measure of good is the number of bowel movements you have per day. 2 is best. 1 is ok. But having a couple a week isn't ideal. Eat more high fiber foods such as seeds, vegetables and unrefined grains to improve bowel movements
