If WBC goes ahead with its plan to develop Red Court/Scotland Lane, it will sanction the combined destruction in Haslemere of 125 acres of AONB land ignoring its birdlife, habitat and ecological value - forever lost!

say no to the destruction of our green woodland. Say no to profiteering from AONB. Say yes to the scouts and forest school but not 180 homes. Save our green space and tell the developers why it matters.

In a meeting right now discussing 'this destruction of views, destruction of land and destruction of habitat.'

... meant to protect woodlands/green spaces from urban sprawl encroachment not destroy them. Does this mean that Michael Gove’s flagship NPPF2, unveiled as a ‘greener’ way of sustainably developing Britain, can be ignored by regional and local councils?

in allowing a housing estate development on Scotland Lane/Red Court, (AGLV/bordering AONB land, part of the biodiversity rich Wealden Heath) Waverley would be acting in blatant contravention of its own NFFP Government policy....

Scotland Lane is completely flooded after today’s rain. What will happen if the fields behind are concreted?

Gotta love a good Roald Dahl reference. Concerned about this fence? Email councillors at WBC.

Like this? Over on Instagram (@scotland_lane_oak) there’s a bird song clip, also from the road adjacent to the fields under threat from mass development.
