Today’s physical activity was 35 minutes of dynamic mobility exercises. Going to switch my long run from the weekend to tomorrow due to the anticipated heat wave, so wanted an easy day today.

TRAIN Today was an ABSOLUTELY beautiful day, so I'm glad I ran today instead of yesterday. One of my goals is to be more comfortable in my own skin, so I took the chance to cool off & work on getting rid of that tan-line during an extra long walk

What are you thankful for? TRAIN - ⛈️ I thought my run was completely borked, but thankfully the skies parted🌞 About a 0.5 mi into my run I stopped take a picture of the deer. It impacted my pace but sometimes you just got to stop & appreciate

Today was supposed to be a threshold run but trying to protect my hip flexor that is starting to feel better. Modified to an easy long run. Finished as it started to rain and it felt amazing!

I am so proud of myself y’all! I got out and ran this evening after such a long day at work. I felt some soreness in my Achilles that slowed me down, but I kept going.

Race day tune up went well today, 4 weeks till the actual race and I ran a PR in training. Effort felt comfortable for 18km before I dug in to close it out. Warmed down listening to the boys

3 miles on Wednesday 4 miles in 36 degrees Thursday 3 miles Friday 12.5 on Saturday...wanted 13. Totally done at 12.5 when I arrived back at my car....called it good enough. 🏃‍♂️💨🌾
