Tomorrow was a new adventure, even with all the problems. Time was never my friend, it was too fickle, and it had too much control and dictated way too much. It always seemed that spring would never arrive, but then summer was just a memory.

Petey was rested enough and ready to continue our climb. We were about one hundred and fifty feet above the lake. As I looked up, I thought I could see a plateau, but I couldn’t tell for sure from my vantage point.

Tama Zoo, Tokyo Japan No grey herons are reared by the zoo but they are wild and live here to steal pelican's feed. According to the zoo, there are nearly 200 herons living in this zoo. They build nests on trees in the zoo and raise chicks in spring season.
