Added fine details to the body feathers and started underpainting the eyes. Still humid as hell after last night's typhoon. Mother playing the guilt-trip game. The kindergarten and nursery kiddies made my day, as usual. Thank god for kids!

Managed to concentrate on painting for two hours. Miracle. Need to stop now, though. I'm too restless. Typhoon passing over. Will add some fine line work tomorrow if possible. Then start eyes. Brain's burning again. Benzo burn.

Getting there slowly. Feeling manic again, which comes as a relief TBH. I realise that the most normal and comfortable state for me is manic. I can't cope with stability. Life is empty without my interesting thoughts. Euthymia sucks.

Guess who! I meant for those flowers to be gardenias, but they look more like frangipani now. Oh well.

At times, depression colors my mind with the darkest paint. Today one of my paintings got an honorable mention at a large art show. Today I feel chuffed. I’m going to put my claws in that feeling and cling to it as long as I can before the self-ridicule returns

Model is Paris from Posespace, I must've done this on my "recycled" paper since the paint looks kinda splotchy... been a while since I swapped back to fresh paper but that's one of the reasons why.
