A colleague told me that, while shopping in a card shop in a Liverpool suburb, he heard a customer ask if there were any graduation congratulations cards. Sadly, the owner told her that there was little demand for such cards from his customers. Aspirations needed!

Streaming at such an early age teaches young people to develop negative thoughts about their own potential. Negative thoughts depress possible future attainment. Lower attainment prevents enhanced social mobility. Nurturing self-belief matters
