I am grateful for the pilgrims of centuries past who, doing their best to serve God, helped prepare the way for the return of the gospel, priesthood, and Church of Jesus Christ once again to the earth.

I for the powerful influence of the Book of Mormon in my life. This precious book has provided me with many opportunities to learn more about Jesus Christ. The truths you read in it will strengthen your faith and fill your soul with light.

I'm grateful to God I played on BYU's National Championship Football Team in 1984 when we won the Nat'l Championship, and to have played for LaVell Edwards, the greatest coach ever. 👇 I read the Book of Mormon the same year. BOM is better.

Today I’m grateful for empathy. We often receive hate mail, but yesterday we got an envelope with something very different: Notes of encouragement from a kind family. To our friends, and especially those we don’t know, who lift us everyday, thank you for your empathy.

It may be tough to find things to be thankful for… You may be distant from loved ones, you may be angry about the state of things; however, today is a day to focus on the good—to embrace the things that bring joy. Happy from Grand Canyon National Park.

Before this day of Thanksgiving closes, I want to express my infinite gratitude to my family, especially my Mama. It was her idea to adopt a cat to keep her company in her home office while Papa is at work. I now have a warm home, lots of food and staff to play with.

Today I’m grateful for this handy apparatus that helps me be more independent after last week’s spinal fusion. I was able to put on my 2020 Sucks socks all by myself so I could go for a (short and slow) walk with my daughter this AM. I’m thankful to be doing so well.

I am thankful for a growing awareness that not everything has to be so hard. That success doesn't have to feel like exhaustion. That progress doesn't have to be at the detriment of mental and physical health. for every day you don't overdo it.

At the end of this day of thanks I feel it most important to give thanks for my Savior Jesus Christ. We gave this picture to our daughter to teach her she will always have somewhere to turn when life is hard. He has always been there for me and brought me peace.
