Don't feel sorry for workers who make almost 3x what I do and need more money. Pay goes up, car price goes up, I buy car that costs less elsewhere. Lost 2 jobs where wages went up and company went broke. Reasonable wage = job security.

That $250 we make a WEEK, is money that we as UAW members have set aside in our union dues to help cover us for this eventuality. GM is not paying a singal penny for this. We the members of the UAW are. Weekly not daily, and only after the 15th day.
