A student said ‘I get why you want to be called Dr, you know so much & worked so hard to get that PhD...I thanked him, agreed, & stated that I also prefer not to use a salutation...the words Miss, Ms, Mrs feel like the antithesis of who & what I am 🤷🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

Also interesting point about products brought up where they are completely unnecessary: why does a high vis jacket or pens(!) have to be gendered, especially when the "female" version is often more expensive
