The Geierlay is a suspension bridge in the low mountain range of the Hunsrück in central Germany. It is a pedestrians bridge and is open permanently without a fee for walking over. Twenty per cent of all visitors visiting the bridge do not cross it.

Hängeseilbrücke Geierlay, Germany: The bridge connects the hiking trail between the towns of Perl, Trier ( Moselle river) and Boppard (Rhine river). If you're lucky, you can catch the yummy ice cream truck at one of the ends. :)
