Yes because the refiners as they have robbed us for the past 5 years with overpriced using $50 oil to make it, now have a reason or excuse did jack the price up even higher. But no politician or media will ever touch the subject.

U.S. crude oil and petroleum product inventories excl SPR for Q2 2019 are expected to come in at 1,280 million barrels, up 7.2% Y-O-Y, vs the 3-year average of 1,279 million barrels. The U.S. will not cut production so OPEC needs more cuts, or else!!!

This year's seasonal transition from winter to summer grades may keep prices down in coming months, contrary to the usual pattern, writes Scott Bauer.

US deflation accelerated during 2nd week of June. I would argue it says something abt driver demand and it certainly is tugging CPI lower (below consensus in red).

It always looks HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS when crude prices are ready to fall of the cliff and somewhere in the middle east a tanker or pipeline gets blown up!

July rbob continues its slide. Major support here at 1.6636. A break under projects another 10 cents down. Resistance now found at 1.6947. First two spreads under a great deal of pressure. Look for nq to test 189 and qu 252.

Yesterday was the last day of the roll so we should see the rbob spreads rally a bit. Look for aug/sep to hold 302. It needs to push through 315 to get any upside movement. Flat price still stuck between 1.7660 to 1.6636.
