Did someone say bulbs? After getting serious allium envy in spring, I have been very proactive and ordered some bulbs... when is the best time to plant them?

QUESTION: deadheading helleniums - is there an art to it? or do I just chop off the spent flower heads and wait for new ones to appear? I want them to last forever 🔥

I really wanted a green wall here but couldn’t afford one, so I created this instead. It looks so lush right now, I’m thrilled!

The old rotten & rusty shed/garage is gone and we have built a new much improved one with the addition of another water butt & a window that overlooks the veg patch, now I have the opportunity to create a nice bed in front of it

Today my daughter & I had lots of fun trying to create a mini wildflower meadow in the scruffy bit of lawn at the top of the garden. We removed 50% of the grass, scarified it & sowed Yellow Rattle & a selection of (some pictured) 🐝🌸
