Done! My first table... Took me 10 days and I used hand cut recycled stained glass, glazed and unglazed ceramic, wood & Italian milifiori on weatherproofed hardy-backer before I grouted, sealed and attached to a bistro table base

Herb garden is thriving. Left to right and top to bottom, there is Italian parsley, oregano, sweet mint, chives, dill, lemon thyme, basil, sage, and coriander/cilantro. Are you gardening this summer?

Gathering lunch from the garden. The strawberries are a thousand times tastier than store bought. Yum!

I'm taking the day off because today, building the garden space (raised bed + soil + critter-protection cage) is way more important than money.

Fresh Veggies from our garden for smoothies! Yes all of that fits in it! 🥰Feeling extra thankful for good health. It feels amazing to be growing my own food & being able to nurish my body the way it craves 🥬🍓

I was raised 2plan4 every1 to have 'plenty' to eat including at least 3guys >6'2" 230-320lbs. 'Plenty' was food from the garden and meat that we had raised/butchered. Now called organic we called it COUNTRY. I'm still a food pusher! Gotta get back to my country roots.

Peony time. Divas of the garden showing off and making the home smell like French perfume.

Harvesting lots of snow peas! Delicious. The pea sprouts survived the hail well under my anti-rabbit netting.

Just picked some fresh sage in the freezing Iowa December weather for my soup. Still some oregano, thyme and kale in my herb garden nestled against the house. •
