We talked to English schools here but because his speaking is basically native, they will only arrange private, very expensive, lessons. I’m v. happy to pay a tutor, but schools are ¥¥¥! Anyone know any English teachers in Fukuoka who might be interested?

One of my favorite international city names to mispronounce is “Fukuoka.” (Which, btw, is the capitol of Fukuoka Prefecture and is almost as much fun to mispronounce)
