LOL. I grew up in Niagara, directly across the lake from T.O., where winter barely deserves the name. Corrosion due to road brine, not snow or cold, is the chief concern. In Calgary, regular maintenance and clearing in winter enables a thriving culture and volume.🚲❄️

Here is a protip. Since metal handlebars will conduct some heat away. from hands, it is a great idea to cover your grips in foam and shrink some heat-shrinkable tubing over the insulating foam. In this case, I used craft foam and also did the brake lever.
