Big news: Illinois legislators passed a bill that would reduce driver's license suspension for unpaid fines and fees! Now, to the Governor's desk. Congratulations to all the advocates who have been working so hard to change this cruel and counter-productive law.

Did you know that LA suspends drivers licenses for unpaid fines & fees, or for failing to appear in court? There are 11m ppl in the US unable to drive because they're poor. If we elect the right ppl Oct. 12, we can change this injustice.
