If wanting to learn UX design/design for apps etc etc, what program would be your first port of call in learning absolute basics? I suspect I have an Adobe app which I am not utilising. *not asking for a friend

A1: I went deep (As in didn’t leave the house for 4 days last Christmas deep) into optimising my website. It’s paid off massively this year though and has got me some big clients by targeting the right keywords

A1. I don't rank well b/c there's a knitwear designer with same name as me. But my site is getting found thanks to me blogging and being in directories etc.

Hey, Leigh here. Lover of words. And right now I'm in Devon, as odd as it sounds, chicken-sitting. I'm not sure I have a fave - here's one I tune into though.

Is Yoast something I should be looking up then? Does it work on blogs and articles written within websites or blogs only (if that makes sense)?

A3. I don’t. I really hate reading posts which feel like they’ve been written with SEO in mind, particularly things like ‘10 tools every developer should know’ or stuffed with keywords. I write what I want and trust that it will get in front of the right people.

Actually it's JAG but I couldn't find a gif for USA naval aviator turned lawyer! I do like the film Top Gun & looking forward to new one. Stems from wanting to be the first female fighter pilot in the RAF (WRAF). Didn't get to do it as no female pilots back then.

Well done. 👍 It depends on the keywords though: the competition, the demand, the industry, etc. Just because it takes someone longer, doesn't necessarily mean they're doing it wrong. Maybe it's a harder industry to break into.

Slightly broken after trying to keep up with the chat tonight. That + a few bad nights’ sleep + feeling like I’m coming down with that thing that’s currently going around… I’m hoping I’ll be ok for duties tomorrow… 🤞
