The size of Tropical Storm & its outflow is simply impressive. It takes up almost the entire Gulf of Mexico. Landfall is expected tomorrow afternoon but I can't help but feel this will catch some off-guard given the faster-than-normal forward speed.

Is it the end of October or the end of July? Temperatures are very mild this morning, and some might say warm. To put it in perspective, normal lows for this time of year are in the upper 50s/lower 60s.

It is about 400 miles from the winter storm advisories to the hurricane/tropical advisories. Luckily Florida isn't involved in any of this mess this time.
