Fantastic news... has donated 2 pallets of cement to help construct our sandbag bank. Small amounts of cement added to each bag to make wall strong enough to withstand floods. Very special thanks to Les Lawrence for making this happen.

Our "two stage" channel which allows for a buffer zone in peak flows has worked really well in the new river at Bayfield, reducing flooding downstream and stabilising banks. Pleased!

A record breaking sandbag day today - 750 bags filled & laid! This is the moment two ends of the wall met. Wonderful people; so much camaraderie and love for Gwydir and so many new friends. Cake & tea played a big part in today's proceedings too!
