'Miyanda I don't have capital to start my farm project' said Susan. Can I audit your home I asked her, she had bags, shoes, wigs she didn't need. She sold, raised money and now starting her project. Sell what you don't use, you will replace later.Think outside the box

Ah no. Fiona Simson is a Farmer not a scientist. She believes the current science as endorsed by every regulator in the world says that there is no link. Banning it would reverse the enormous environmental benefits no-till enables.

Kiwi farmers are the guardians of Aotearoa's land. It's easy to sit and criticize them from a cafe in Ponsonby without acknowledging that every day, they live and breathe environmental stewardship. I for one am proud of our world leading farmers.

We couldn't run our farm successfully without the support of contractors. From the scanners, tailing gang, shearers, fertiliser spreaders, helicopter spraying, to making baleage

May the good Lord hear the farmers prayer, that as farmers start their land preparations for the next planting season may the heavens open and rain on all fields. Not every farmer especially the small scale can afford irrigation systems therefore the rains are needed.

My mantra has always been before visibility. Become a credible master at your trade, or area of expertise first. Then create a visibility strategy, become an authority in your space. Whenever your trade is discussed your name must always come up.

When renting land for please DO NOT have verbal agreements. Make sure you have legal counsel to write it up, understand terms and conditions. Look for land you can rent for minimum 5 years, that's a good enough time to start to see a return on your investment
