I’m finished; I’m nauseated; I’m just bloody SAD. I felt the need to read this for the same reason I’ve felt the need to read through volumes of Royal Commission reports, because as an ordained Christian I need to bear witness to the worst the church has done. But - SAD.

I preordered by but just after it arrived I fell ill and was unable to read it. I started a couple of weeks ago. Ripping through the 1st 1/2 I had to put it aside and come up for air. Finished today. Powerful and deeply painful reading. Brilliant work.
