The Steller sea lion males are starting to come back from the breeding rookeries further north. We’re seeing more sea lions returning every day, including youngsters like the one on the lower left, who chose to hang out near the big guy for company!

Located on the eastern coast of northern Vancouver Island, Telegraph Cove is best known for the picturesque community built on stilts and the wooden boardwalks that meander the village. Be sure to make time for whale watching too. Photo by bennnnnnnngie (via IG)
