It still amazes me that in 2017 with all modern forecasting they still can't keep road open and clear. I'm sure this is due to either the wrong type of snow or not enough snow for our equipment to work.

The were out in force this weekend spreading 1,940 tonnes of salt, almost 1 tonne of salt per mile spread of the 2,000 mile gritting network.
