This is the 2,500th FREE smoke detector *just since July 1st* being installed in an at-risk home in the Northland by volunteer Hermann. Over 5,500 installed in local homes since 2015.

Since January 3rd, Red Cross volunteers have responded to 15 home fires across the Bay Area, assisting 129 adults and 21 children with emotional support and financial assistance for emergency lodging, clothing and food needs.
