Nevada has shoddy laws, too. Family members who report abuse are ignored, harassed, gaslighted & falsely accused of having a mental illness. Denied the right to provide evidence & right to be heard--for 5 YEARS and counting.

As State/Territory-Trustee/Guardians RELY on 'Seized individuals & their asset base' 2 raise their operating costs & salaries from fees levied on clients, having allegations of 'Investigated' by Police, would NOT BE in S/T Govs 'Best Financial Interest'.

Like Steven, I am a victim of a broken system in which I have proof of of my mom, but I am not allowed to give evidence in my own report. Meanwhile, the abuser is allowed to lie through his teeth and say whatever he wants--and authorities just take his word for it.

I’m in the USA and elder abuse is a huge problem but there are resources that have been developed here but they just aren’t being used. And because of this my grandma whose is being abused will probably die before my mom and I can get her out.
