I just saw and thought it was the best film about adolescence I’ve seen in a long time. Maybe ever.

captured something so authentic about being an awkward girl about to make the terrifying leap to high school. Beautifully done 👏🏻

is probably the only coming of age movie I’ve ever related to. Beautiful, wonderful, and I DID cry 90% of the time!!

Bo Burnham's is out now. And it's exquisitely excruciating.

That scene in where that older boy was preying on her was too fucking real to me like I literally had to plug my ears. Especially when she was apologizing to him after. Seeing that as the person I am now really had me crying for younger me.

Just saw by . Goodness gracious. I laughed. I cried (a lot). And I’m so thankful that middle school (and high school) are over.

Groundbreaking moment: Getting to shave my mustache and wear contact lenses for my 8th grade class photo. Congrats to and @Chris_Storer on . It’s INCREDIBLE and I’m so proud of them. See it this weekend!

was very good but I'm also overcome with anxiety over my middle school years. That pool party scene fucked me up; I missed so many because I didnt wanna wear a swimsuit!! Body issues plus social anxiety oh man. The whole movie was hard to watch, in a good way

Watching is probably really fun if you figured it out eventually, but me, I’m 23 and I think I’m going to have a breakdown because somehow it still feels like I’m in eighth grade.

shoutout to the random woman sitting next to me in the movie theater tonight who lovingly patted my arm as I sniffled my way through Eighth Grade 😬
