Real-life relevant maximal eating occasion of 🍕led to an almost doubled energy intake compared to ad libitum trial. However, no proportional increase in blood glucose & insulin. Any idea if food was just not properly processed in the GI tract ?

Awesome presentation and great data from Carsten Lundby’s lab demonstrate that thermal stress (5x 1h % VO2max in 35C for 5 weeks) in high level endurance athletes increases hbmass (likely due to the Critmeter theory).
