One thing that Sanral can expect to happen from tomorrow: compliance will take another dive. Time to bury eTolls and for those corporate entities & car rental companies still paying, to now pull back. They are the main players keeping the scheme alive.

That fact in itself, makes the scheme unlawful. The law is clear: public consultation must be meaningful. No wonder the people are angry and the scheme has failed. Now five years on, they are trying to revive a dead horse.

Really bad form that we still had to pay the toll today after being stuck for almost an hour just before the toll bridge on the ! Surely it would’ve been a really good gesture to suspend it for a few hours with those road conditions?
