We were creating to look at literature circles a little differently, and these students showed me a more effective workflow on the how-to side, but also gave really good feedback on what makes a good interesting to look through their eyes

A7) It's all public. I don't have "work" vs. "personal" accounts. Modeling via what is essentially a fake account isn't really modeling. What you see is what you get, and I try to put the best out there... or at least my best at that time :-)

A1-1) Good digital citizenship characteristics overlap principles of character ed, heavily. Just like you would present yourself and model good character traits, so should you in the digital wold.

A3-2) Now as a tech integrator, things are a little different. I try to share information with my PLC, but I love showing how STUDENTS teach me things, just last week I gave two 5th graders shout outs for showing me better ways to do things, they loved it!

A2-2) Could something go wrong? Sure, but don't become paralyzed by fear... to borrow an idea from and , consider the worst consequence of your best idea... Frame things in the positive, you might be surprised how little negative actually happens

Absolutely! I think that families benefit from the support and as a parent myself, there needs to be a better understanding of what kids are on, and how to support them in creating a positive dig. footprint.

A4) isn't "one more thing", it can be an embedded discussion in any lesson/activity. Explicit modeling of behavior&practices for example. Go to tools are and are great places to get ideas

A6: Even though I teach a , semester long class and we have 10 week classes in the middle school, all of our teachers have a responsibility to talk and teach about digital citizenship. But again, it comes down to the same qualities as your F2F citizenship.

A5: We talk about boundaries in real life and how those boundaries should extend to online life. There should not be a disconnect with who you are in person vs who you are online. If you wouldn't do/say something in person, don't do it online. 1/2
