Love this image. Sometimes Ts try to force Ss to follow one "design" of how to solve a problem. Let them explore their own path that can still lead to the same destination. Most problems have many paths that can lead to the solution.

Iterate quickly, focus on real needs, make connections and intuitive leaps. challenges the assumption that there is a single correct answer to a problem, and is based on the premise that there can be multiple correct answers to the same question.

No, is not rocket science. But it’s not just “brainstorming” or “creativity” either. It’s research + analysis + ideation + prototyping + implementation + 🔄. And in the end it is changing people and orgs. In a day or so you can SNIFF it, not more.

So, Mackintosh's chairs were in Star Wars. Did you know his chairs have also featured in The Addams Family, American Psycho, Babylon 5, Blade Runner, Madonna's Express Yourself video & an episode of Dr Who. I wonder where else?

Working on my “Designing Your Life” workbook this morning and this passage hit me hard. I have walked away from creative avenues because of fear of judgement only to revisit them years later filled with regret. I am hoping to do better this time

A3 Do not view as a panacea or easy quick-fix bolt on, be realistic on expectations; devote sufficient time for prototyping stage & do not worry re labels (Design Thinking, Service Design etc) - focus on engagement and breaking silos
