The Great Orion Nebula (M42) is a classical deep sky object located some 1,300 light-years from us and it’s around 24 light-years across. Together with M42 we can see Sh2-279 also called "Running Man Nebula” 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️

If there's one thing I like more than dark nebulae, it's dark nebulae with rad names like: "The Dark Doodad." Seriously, who comes up with this stuff. This is every ounce of detail I could get out of 88 minutes of data between clouds...(WIP 😉)

The Heart Nebula in SHO. I captured 3 hours and 29 minutes of Hydrogen-alpha, Oxygen and Sulfur data using 5nm and 3nm Astrodon filters and a mono CMOS from my light-polluted garden.
