Looking forward to a dose of high desert sustenance on Thursday. Back roads and badlands. Normally I avoid the badlands in August, but, hey, strange times, eh? Have drone, will travel. LOL

Sitting Bull Falls - Not sure if they have reopened or not. They had to close in May and June due to the amount of traffic and trash.

Good morning. Off for a drive this afternoon. Badlands. Easy to socially distance in the middle of nowhere.

Jemez Mountains Day Trip - Please, please pack out your trash. Lots of locals are hitting the Jemez right now. People who live there can't keep up w/the debris that people are leaving behind.

I explored the Lybrook Badlands w/ from yesterday afternoon. Lybrook Badlands is part of the San Juan Badlands, on the west side of the KT Boundary. The terrain is rougher than Bisti, with more vegetation and wildlife.
