I'm sorry for saying this but why does it take the death of a "famous" person for the PM to release more funds into cancer treatment and research. I am sure "normal" people who have died might have benefited from it?

Even during the most difficult period in her life, was committed to ensuring early cancer diagnosis is available to all and using her experience to continue to fight for more funding in the NHS / cancer field. RIP Tessa! 😥

Hope one of the Olympic venues can be renamed in honour of Dame Tessa Jowell, not sure of any legalities but would seem the least we could do.
