14 plus miles by 9:45am. Walked 10 miles. Ran 4 miles (8:45). Crohn's and Barrett's almost stopped me. Not today.

1999 Blood, Sweat & Tears Brazil (...and on a personal note; I’m surprised to see some baby fat on my young face. I was still undiagnosed and had no idea I would get even skinnier in the years to come. !) Tagging 3 to play...

I hate to ask for myself, but had a massive Crohns attack tonight. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. Anniversary, Thanksgiving, two races and a trip to Columbus this week. Don’t have time for this!

700,000 people are affected by Crohn’s. I am one of them. I am in the hospital for a severe flare causing not only small intestine inflammation but also a severe infection and severe internal bleeding. If you think you may have it, see a doctor ASAP.

Colleagues and friends are chatting about next week’s 5k that we all love to run... but side effects from meds are making me think that I’ll have to bow out this year. I’m feeling super frustrated and pissed that I’m swapping one set of symptoms for another 😠😭

A big part of recovering from a flare up is having a loving and supportive partner.(patient with the meds mood swings) The fact that he's super cute is an added bonus.

Yes! Those of us not considered to be disabled enough to get help, yet cant work. We get put on newstart and then get medical certificates to say we can't look for jobs, yet get half the amount of a disability pension.
